The National Drama School’s short courses for adults offer the perfect opportunity for you to access and expand your creative talents!

Under the expert guidance of our professional industry teachers, our tailored courses will introduce and deepen your performance skills in a fun and supportive environment, no matter your level of knowledge or experience.

Our suite of adult short courses is offered in three streams delivered weekly over 8 weeks.

Choose from The Craft of Acting, Will Power, Movers and Shakers, or Script Intensives

If you’re almost ready to undertake full time acting studies, Foundation in Acting is the perfect next stage towards your career pursuits. Delivered by industry professionals over Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings for two, 10-week terms.

Foundation in Acting

This comprehensive pre-professional training program, delivered over three nights each week for two terms, covers screen acting, voice and stage acting and theatre making. Highly suitable for those considering full time drama studies.

Script Intensives

During the two streams of Script Intensives, students will develop their creative instruments through a rigorous exploration and rehearsal of classical texts, including Shakespeare and classical Greek text and contemporary material from modern playwrights.
