麒麟剧社成立于2016年，是由郭德纲联合多位京剧名家创办，名字来源于京剧“麒派”艺术创始人、艺名“麒麟童”的周信芳，剧社的宗旨为复排冷门剧目、弘扬京剧艺术，侧重重新树立京剧的“南派风格”。演员有来自专业剧团的演员、戏校即将毕业的学生、跑江湖的演员、老艺人等等，其中也包括郭德纲徒弟陶阳等专业学习过京剧表演的弟子。

此次演出的剧目是由郭德纲领衔主演的京剧《济公活佛》，讲述济公身着破烂僧衣，却学问渊博、行善积德，降妖除魔（的故事，以癫狂行止济弱扶贫、戏弄丑恶。延续了上海连台本戏风格，郭德纲先生饰演的济公不勾脸、着百衲衣，以独特的幽默与施施然的神态展现癫僧风采，台风潇洒，常融入即兴“抓哏”。

本次演出是德云社成立三十周年，麒麟剧社成立十周年的系列演出之一，也是麒麟剧社第一次踏足南半球的首次商演。期待大家的到来，我们演出现场见！

Qiling Peking Opera House is established in 2016 by Mr. Degang Guo together other Peking Opera Senior Artists. “The Legend of Ji Gong” is the very first time has been played in Australia by Mr. Guo with Qiling Peking Opera House. The performance is also in collaboration with the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Deyunshe Beijing. We look forward to welcoming you and explore this magnificent and milestone performance.
