Most memorable recollection of The National Ballet School

Entering the building on my audition day, I was warmly welcomed by everyone including students and staff. Meeting with Damian Smith after was so inspirational and reassuring that I will be looked after and supported through my transition to Melbourne and moving out of home. NBS was the best place for me at that time. I was offered the support I needed and found a family in Melbourne. I would like to thank The National Ballet School for the love and support they offered me. I would not be where I am today without them, dancing professionally with Queensland Ballet and living my dreams. I went through so much during my time at The National, in my dance life and personal life and everyone at The National was with me every step of the way especially during the multiple COVID lockdowns. Thank you National.
