Rosa, a graduate of the Advanced Diploma of Acting at the National Drama School and a degree in Political Science, is a passionate and ever-evolving Naarm based artist. Through her engagement in both film and theatre, she has developed a keen interest in physical theatre and screen and is very excited to be teaching at the school she once attended. What she enjoys most about teaching is engaging young people in the magic of the arts and creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for fun, play, vulnerability, and creativity. With a background in music teaching, Rosa enjoys engaging in multiple art forms and finding the interconnectedness between art, music, theatre, dance and the entire world around us. With a strong focus on ensemble, Rosa’s work space encourages support between all members of her classes, and asks each student to use their own strengths to uphold the strengths of others. The most important part of her lessons is upholding respect for the art form, respect for oneself and respect for one’s ensemble. Every one of Rosa’s classes concludes with two questions: What was your favourite part and what were you most proud of? Rosa’s most recent work was an interactive theatrical experience directed by the Liminal Space Melbourne.
