SUMMARY:刘旸教主单口喜剧专场《身心俱疲Exhausted Physically and Mentally 》Stand:by出品@墨尔本
DESCRIPTION:This performance is conducted in Chinese. \nLiu Yang – Exhausted Physically and Mentally \n“Exhausted Physically and Mentally” is the first special I’ve ever written with a clear theme from the very beginning. \nThat alone feels both joyful and a little sad. \nThe sad part is : over the past couple of years\, I’ve been getting hurt in all kinds of ways—physically and mentally. In this special\, I talk about my knee injury\, my ear injury\, my moments of social death\, my bipolar disorder… all of it. \nThe joyful part is : among my seven specials\, this was the fastest one to complete\, and the one with the most consistent tone. \nI’ve changed a lot in recent years. The biggest change is probably that I’ve been posting jokes online nonstop. Anything I felt didn’t belong in a special\, I just uploaded. So even though I have seven full specials\, there are still one to two hours of material online that aren’t included in any of them. The root cause\, I think\, is my own inner struggle—and a stubborn unwillingness to let go. \nThis is also why I originally wanted to call the show “Mind & Body\, Super Thick-Skinned.” The idea was: even when the body and the mind are worn down\, the spirit stays tough. That has always been the core of my stand-up.After all\, who isn’t toughened by pain\, just to face even more pain in life? But eventually I changed the title to “Exhausted Physically and Mentally.”Because for some reason\, “Mind & Body\, Super Thick-Skinned” looked oddly like the title of a horror film. \nWhen I first started doing stand-up\, I had no idea what having seven specials would feel like. \nLooking back\, maybe that’s a good thing. If I had known that even after seven specials I’d still end up like this\, I probably would’ve burned out long ago.Fortunately\, at least for now\, I’m just… exhausted. \nSee you at the show. \n\n\n	\n \n \n \nWHENWednesday 18 March @ 7:30pmThursday 19 March @ 7:30pm \nDURATION130 minutes \nWHEREThe National Theatre \n20 Carlisle St\, St. Kilda\, VIC 3182\nMore information Your Visit \n \n \n\n	\n\n	\n \n \n \n\n Book now - 点击购票\n \n\nThe tickets are not refundable or transferable except for forced circumstances.\n票品为有价证券，非普通商品，其背后承载的文化服务具有时效性，稀缺性等特征，不支持退换。\n \nNo photo\, audio or video recording\, live broadcasting.禁止拍照，录音，录像，及现场直播。\n \nNo admission for infants in arms and children below 12 years old. SUMMARY:Whispers of Shadows
DESCRIPTION:Experience a mesmerising night of art rock\, spoken word\, and experimental sound as Danielle Whalebone presents Whispers of Shadows — an immersive live performance that blends music\, projections\, and emotion into a powerful multi-sensory journey. \nExploring themes of isolation\, longing\, and resilience\, Whalebone and noise guitarist Francesco Manuse create a soundscape that moves between ethereal stillness and volcanic intensity. Their performance combines feedback-laden guitar textures\, bowed strings\, and shifting psychedelic projections\, transforming The National Theatre stage into a living\, breathing canvas of sound and light. \nMerging the epic crescendos of post-rock with the raw spontaneity of improvisation\, Whispers of Shadows invites audiences to step beyond the ordinary — into a space where art\, sound\, and emotion converge. \nDon’t miss this unforgettable live performance in St Kilda — a hypnotic fusion of music\, light\, and poetic storytelling that resonates long after the final note fades. \n	\n \n\n \n \n \n	\n	\n\n \n\n \n\n \n \n\n\n	\n \n \n \nWHENSaturday 24 January @ 8pm \nDURATION60 Minutes \nWHEREStudio 2 @ The National Theatre \n20 Carlisle St\, St. Kilda\, VIC 3182\nMore information Your Visit \n \n \n\n	\n\n	\n \n \n \nTICKETS \nAll Tickets $55 \n\n Book Now\n \n\nTransaction fees apply.
