Growing up in a small country town in South Australia, Mollie found it challenging to pursue the arts in a school that didn’t teach it and a town too small to have its own theatre company. However, she refused to let that stop her from chasing her passion! She would travel every week to take part in community theatre, involved herself in The Festival of Music Choir and learnt how to stilt walk so she could perform at the Bundaleer Weekend in Jamestown.
She then moved to Adelaide and attended Blackwood High School, making sure to be in every production she could! Throughout her time in Adelaide, she appeared in various musicals such as Seussical The Musical, High School Musical, The Wizard of Oz and the Little Mermaid. Mollie took classes at Actors Ink and appeared in plays including My Sister Violet, Black Rock, Dimboola and Leading Ladies. In 2017 she moved to Melbourne to study acting at the National Theatre Drama School where she has studied for the past three years. She is anxiously awaiting graduation and is excited to get out into the industry!
Her bonus skills of singing, roller-skating, stilt-walking and juggling are all surpassed by her passion for the performing art.
