Kahlia Sulendra is an Educator and VET Co-ordinator with over 16 years helping young people carve their unique paths to future success. Specialising in Dance Education, Kahlia uses that experience to support the Artistic Director’s vision, oversee the smooth running of the schools and manage RTO compliance as well as curriculum quality here at The National.
By focusing on enhancing the student experience, Kahlia has been able to put her education degree earned at the Queensland University of Technology, Cert IV in Dance and Cert IV in Training and Assessment, to good use. Over the years, her passion for performing arts education has garnered some recognition by increasing program numbers by 300%, producing high results in the rollout year of ATAR dance in Queensland secondary schools, and coaching competitive teams and individual dancers to success at a national level. Kahlia may spend the majority of her days in the school’s office, but it’s her passion for arts education and creating multiple learning pathways through vocational education that gets her up in the morning.
When she is not at the National, Kahlia loves spending time at the gym, dancing and exploring new areas.
