Jackie Rae Lythgo trained at the Victorian College Of The Arts, The Johnny Young Talent School, Karen Stephens and Dance Factory on scholarship. As an actor, singer and dancer, Jackie Rae has consistently worked in the industry with top Australian and international directors, musical directors, directors and choreographers.

Jackie Rae began professionally performing as a lead compere of Warner Bros. pantomimes for Conrad and Co Australia wide for several years, along with a list of corporate, commercial, TV, Band, Dance and Theatre credits. Jackie Rae’s first Musical Theatre role was the Enchantress in Disney’s “Beauty And The Beast”, her next role was understudying the female lead, Phillia, in “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Way To The Forum” touring Australia and New Zealand.

In the Australian tour of “ANNIE” for GFO, Jackie Rae played the role of Boylan Sister, Ronnie Boylan and covered the role of Grace Farrell along side Anthony Warlow as Daddy Warbucks. In GFO/The Really Useful Company’s production of “GREASE, the Mega Musical” Jackie Rae played the role of Marty, as well as playing Sandy on several occasions throughout the Australian tour. Other Theatre credits include “Guys And Dolls”, “Hello Dolly”, “Annie Get Your Gun” and “South Pacific” covering the role of Nellie Forbush.

Jackie Rae’s most recent theatre credit was as Marina Prior’s alternate (Rona) and cover for all four female roles in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” with a small star cast including Lisa McCune, Magda Szubanski and David Campbell, for MTC and STC. For well over twenty years, Jackie Rae has regularly taught Jazz, Tap, and Music Theatre from beginners to advanced classes of all age levels at several leading schools all across Melbourne. She has also choreographed many shows, productions and events throughout those years.
