Acting for 7 – 12 years
Acting for 13 – 17 years
During this 5 day experience, young artists will spend a week working as a mini theatre company.
Under the facilitation of their tutor, they will learn skills in performance, furthering their understanding of voice, physicality and focus to convey ideas. They will work as a team to devise a piece of contemporary theatre, learning to respond to stimulus, create scripts, edit and collate, follow threads, distil concepts and extend ideas further.
They will be responsible for choices around costume, design, lighting and sound and will share the sourcing and production of these elements.
The result will be the creation of a strong, current piece of ensemble theatre, which will be performed for friends and family on the final day.
Experience 5 days away from screens with other talented young people who are passionate about theatre – making friends and making memories!

The Little Nashies Dance Theatre Classes are the ultimate dance theatre sessions for 3 to 5 year olds. They are inspiring a mixture of dance, musical theatre, storytelling, drama, and singing.
The Little Nashies is a unique class that brings musical appreciation with a combination of music introduced, and this could be the presence of a pianist or an introduction to a musical instrument that helps stimulate the students’ imaginations with a wide range of sounds and musical styles.
This holistic program is developed for strong engagement, musicality, confidence building, imagination, exploring ideas together, and expressing creativity, all while having fun and making new friends.
These programs are an introduction to all aspects of performing arts at the National Theatre Ballet School and National Theatre Drama School. Both schools have built this program together as a stepping stone into further exploration of the organisation’s offering.
