Holiday Classes

Taking part in the performing arts is one of the best ways to develop the imagination and support creative expression. Collaborating with peers, discussing big ideas and learning the skills of live performance can build confidence and help prepare young people for real-world challenges.

For the Winter holidays we have two programs: the VCE Drama Intensive for Year 12 VCE Drama students; and the Winter Acting School for students aged 7 – 16 years. Each day the classes will be led by professional teachers who are also contemporary actors.

Book now – the Summer School camps sold out and places are strictly limited!

Spend 5 days as a member of a theatre company and stage a show for friends & family!

During this 5-day drama camp, aspiring actors will work together as a theatre company, learning all the aspects of what it takes to put on a show.

Students will work with professional actor/teachers to develop skills in performance, enhancing their understanding of voice, movement, and interaction – and how to successfully convey their ideas for a story.

Working as a team, the students will devise a piece of contemporary theatre; this will include creating scripts by exploring concepts, extending ideas, and finally collating and editing to create a script for stage.

They will also be involved in choosing the costumes, as well as designs for the set, lighting and sound, and they will be jointly responsible for the sourcing and production of all these ‘production’ elements.

The result will be the creation of a strong, current piece of ensemble theatre, that will be performed for friends and family on the final day – to a standing ovation!

5 days away from the screens with like-minded young people who are passionate about theatre-making!
