Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Intermediate Tue 6:30 - 8:00 pm & Fri 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

*Prerequisites: Must be 12 years of age to enrol 

Ballet students will learn the syllabus through 2 carefully constructed lessons per week in preparation for the 2nd  Vocational Level examination. Candidates will need to demonstrate classical ballet at a high level including pointe work. Through the stated elements of assessment, the syllabus will help identify the necessary skills that underpin secure technique, such as core stability, weight placement, turnout and line.  The awareness of artistry,dynamics,and  musicality is promoted through inspired set exercises and a Variation that  will motivate students preparing for these Examinations. The candidate will explore the  joy in movement, creative interpretation, and performance quality. 


*Two classes per week accumulating 150  hours of training to be eligible for an Examination 

*All classes at this level will be invited to enrol into the specialist Stretch and Conditioning coaching classes
