2024 On Stage Ballet Summer School

Take a leap from the studio to the stage in this performance-based week of dance training.

Over six jam-packed days, The National Ballet School’s Artistic Director Damian Smith will guide students through the process of creating a ballet performance from concept and choreography to talent and technique.

Hone your performance skills. Refine your ballet technique. Learn how to pick up choreography quickly. Work with costumes, props and sets.

At the end of an intensive week of training and development, you will perform on the historic National Theatre stage with your friends and family in the audience.

The National Ballet School offers a safe and supportive environment staffed by highly qualified professional dance teachers who work with students to develop their coordination and rhythm, build strength and knowledge, and cultivate young talent. Students will improve their technique, explore their creativity and share their passion with fellow dancers.
